DescriptionDescription  A healthy, tangy barbeque sauce that works great on chicken or with ground beef.
InstructionsInstructions  Heat coconut oil in large pan. Sauté onions and garlic until soft. Stir in tomato puree and tomato paste. Add honey, vinegar and tamari and stir to combine. Then add chili powder, salt, dry mustard and paprika. Stir briefly. Then add worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper (according to preferred taste.) Bring mixture to a boil and then allow to simmer stirring often for about 2 hours. At the end of the cooking time, stir in the olive oil and stir until combined. Sauce can be refrigerated or frozen.
NotesNotes  I spoon this sauce over chicken breasts and bake in the oven. I also brown ground beef, buffalo or turkey with onions. Then I add the barbeque sauce and simmer until bubbly for sloppy joes.
