Cashew Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
1/3 cup
raw cashews
2 tbs
arrowroot
3/4 cup
water
1 tbs
dijon mustard
2 tsp
lemon juice
1 tbs
tamari
1/4 tsp
Herbamare

Description
An easy sauce to top steamed broccoli or cauliflower. It's also good on fish or poultry.
Instructions
Bring water to a gentle simmer. Place cashews and arrowroot in blender container. Grind into a powder. Gently add water to mixture. Place lid on blender and place pot holder on top of lid. With hand on top of lid, blend ingredients for about 30 seconds. Then add mustard, lemon juice, tamari and Herbamare. Blend again for about 30 seconds. Allow to sit in blender for a few minutes to thicken. Can either mix sauce with freshly steamed broccoli or cauliflower or serve warm along with the vegetables. Can also be poured on top of fish or poultry.
