Description
An easy sweet and sour sauce that can be used with chicken, beef or vegetables.
Instructions
Drain pineapple chunks and reserve the juice. (Drained pineapple can be added to stir fried vegetables or meat dish.) Add enough water to juice to equal 1 cup. Pour that into blender container. Add vinegar, honey, and tamari. Blend together. Add arrowroot, ginger and paprika. Briefly blend. Mixture can then be stirred into cooked, stir-fry vegetables and/or poultry or beef. Gently heat until sauce thickens and mixture is combined. Or sauce can be poured into a saucepan and cooked until thick and bubbly. Then pour over already cooked vegetables and/or meat.
